Why mobile welding
The welder comes to the work
Most of what breaks on a farm, jobsite or property is too big, too heavy or too fixed in place to haul to a shop. A mobile welder brings the machine, generator and gear in a truck and fixes it where it sits.
- No loading, hauling or trailer rental
- Less downtime for equipment and trucks
- Repairs on gates, fences and railings that can't move
- One trip can cover several small jobs

FAQ
Common questions
Is this service free for customers?
Yes. Requesting a welder through us is free. You pay the welder directly for the work they do, based on the quote you agree with them.
Are you a welding company?
No. We're a referral service. We connect you with independent mobile welding businesses. They quote, schedule and perform the work, and they're responsible for it.
How fast will a welder contact me?
Usually the same business day for requests sent during the day. Emergency jobs are flagged so welders see them first, but we can't guarantee a response time or availability.
What does mobile welding cost?
Thumbtack reports a national average of $159 to $514 for a welding job, and Angi reports typical labor of $65 to $125 per hour. Mobile welders often add a trip or minimum charge. See our cost guide for details.
Do the welders carry insurance?
We ask every welder about insurance and experience, but we don't verify licenses or insurance for you. Ask the welder for proof of insurance and any required license before work starts, especially for structural or gas-line work.
